Thinking about a new website?
Whether you’re starting from scratch or your current site isn’t pulling its weight, I’d be glad to take a look.

Having a website doesn’t automatically mean people will find it on Google. If your website isn’t appearing for the searches that matter to your business, there may be issues with its content, structure, performance, or SEO foundation.

The good news is that many of these problems can be fixed.

1. Your Pages Aren’t Targeting Clear Search Intent

Every important page should have a clear purpose.

If your service page doesn’t clearly explain what you offer, who it’s for, and what people might search for to find it, Google has less context about the page.

Start by making each page focused on one main topic.

2. Your Content Isn’t Answering What People Search For

Ranking isn’t about adding keywords repeatedly.

Your content should answer real questions and provide useful information that matches what your potential customers are looking for.

Think about the problems your customers have, the services they need, and the questions they ask before contacting you.

3. Your Website Structure Needs Work

A well-organized website helps both visitors and search engines understand your content.

Make sure your important pages are easy to reach, your headings follow a logical structure, and related pages are connected through useful internal links.

4. Your Website Is Too Slow

Performance matters.

Large images, unnecessary plugins, excessive scripts, and poor hosting or configuration can slow down your website.

A faster website provides a better experience for visitors and gives your SEO foundation a stronger start.

5. Your Pages Don’t Have Strong Titles and Descriptions

Your page title tells Google and users what a page is about.

A clear, relevant title and useful meta description can make your pages easier to understand and more appealing in search results.

Every important page should have these elements written intentionally.

6. Your Website Isn’t Mobile-Friendly

Google evaluates websites with mobile users in mind.

If your website is difficult to navigate, read, or interact with on a phone, you’re creating a poor experience for both visitors and search engines.

Check every important page on an actual mobile device, not just your desktop browser.

7. You’re Expecting Results Too Quickly

SEO takes time.

Even after fixing technical issues and improving content, search engines need time to crawl, understand, and evaluate your website.

Focus on making consistent improvements instead of looking for shortcuts.

Start With the Basics

If your website isn’t ranking, don’t immediately assume you need hundreds of backlinks or dozens of new articles.

Start with the foundation:

Clear content.
Strong page structure.
Useful internal links.
Good performance.
Mobile usability.
Relevant titles and descriptions.

Once those pieces are working together, you have a much stronger foundation for long-term SEO.

SEO Should Support Your Business

The goal of SEO isn’t simply to get more visitors.

It’s to attract the right visitors, people who are actually looking for what your business offers.

A well-designed website with useful content and a solid SEO foundation can turn that search traffic into real inquiries and opportunities.
